Joy, pride, and a profound sense of accomplishment filled the air as Guidance Standard School celebrated its annual Graduation and Speech & Prize-Giving Ceremony across our Gorondutse community. The event marked a defining milestone for graduating cohorts across our primary, junior, and senior secondary divisions, celebrating years of academic diligence, character development, and practical learning.
Surrounded by parents, community leaders, educators, and well-wishers, the ceremony showcased the complete educational journey of our students. Beyond receiving their diplomas and school-leaving testimonials, the graduates stood as testaments to the institution’s core mission: merging rigorous formal scholarship in Science, Art, and Commerce with foundational moral ethics, Islamic values, and practical technical competence.
During the event, standout scholars, debaters, and spelling champions were recognized for bringing honors to the institution across state and national stages. Guests were also treated to student-led exhibitions highlighting achievements from the school’s vocational and entrepreneurship center—ranging from ICT practicals to tailoring and creative crafts—reinforcing the school’s commitment to producing self-reliant youths ready for modern challenges.
Addressing the assembly, Proprietor Bilkisu Ibrahim Suleiman Esq. commended the graduating class for their discipline, resilience, and exemplary conduct.
